Absolutely the most incredible highlight of our 2 weeks in Central America was looking into the eye of the volcano! The guide introduced us to the volcano history in the visitor center which was great. We then went for a short walk to see the landscape. Finally drove us to the parking lot mere steps away to look straight into the eye of the volcano! It was SOOO amazing!
